This picture was taken in 浅草, Tokyo. I recently returned from an amazing trip to Japan in which I made some great new friends and ate some delicious food. The people around my hotel accommodations provided by the helpful staff at University of Tokyo were all very kind and helped me along with my small Japanese vocabulary. I was in Tokyo for a program called MUSCAT. The program linked MIT students and U-Tokyo students over skype through a class called "M-skype" at Tokyo and then fostered language communication at the actual university by offering flight subsidies and assistance to come to Japan. I enjoyed the program a lot and I look forward to seeing the country again.
